About the Author
ARTHUR HOPCRAFT, who died in 2004, was an English scriptwriter, well known for his TV plays such as The Nearly Man, and for his small-screen adaptations such as Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy; Hard Times, Bleak House, and Rebecca. Before taking up writing for TV, he was a sports journalist for The Guardian and The Observer, writing The Football Man: People and Passions in Soccer, which was voted one of best sports books of all time by The Observer and The Independent. He also had four other books published, including an autobiographical account of his childhood, and wrote the screenplay for the film Hostage. Hopcraft won the BAFTA writer's award in 1985.

This is more of a plum/purplish pink, which I was not pleased with. Thought it would match the pink Bible it shows it recommends it with. Also it said it was a certain length and the pink/brown Bible it recommends was very cutting-it-close in terms of would it fit or not??? But I am happy to report that yes it does fit :-) . Also someone said this had no pockets, but it has two pockets plus an inside mesh bag! :P. Nice sturdy cover (for the money). Biggest gripe is the not straightforward pink color but hey, it all works well enough :) . Hope this is helpful.

Pretty, soft and useful. What more could you want?!??! My Bible is 9 1/2 x 6 and fits perfect in the cover. I also like that it has a mesh pocket on inside of front cover that is perfect to put breathe mints in. I have never had a zip up bible cover so time will tell how I like this feature.

A beautiful case for my bible! Better than what is pictured. I love the color and feel of the material. Inside is a small zippered pocket for your credit card and driver's license and room enough for keys. There's a pocket in the bag in which I carry some CDS. It is all I need to bring to Church and I couldn't be more pleased.

Made well and looks beautiful. Ample space inside for my highlighters, pens, fan, glasses, etc. I use my Bible a lot and n this has held greatly except it gets dirty easily because of the light pink color and the see l suede like material. I figured this might happen so I ordered another for my main Bible and will use this one for my teaching Bible for the children's ministry, which I use less. It's absolutely beautiful! 😊
